CMAS BoD has approved the application of Turkish Underwater Sports Federation for the organization of CMAS UWR Open-European Championships for Juniors (U21) in 2020.
When Turkish Federation applied for this organisation, the frequency of the U21 Championships was 1 time per 4 years. In CMAS UWR Commission meeting, the frequency of the U21 Championships was decided as 1 time per 2 years. Therefore, the structure of these championships can be named as 2nd CMAS UWR World Championships for Juniors.
